Undergraduate Internship Program
An internship is a great way to apply course material to the work place. Every student receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business Management (ABM) is required to complete an internship. Environmental Economics, and Policy (EEP) majors can include an internship in their program, but it is not required. General guidelines are listed below. For complete information regarding internships, please see the Guidelines pdf and/or contact the appropriate Internship Coordinator for your major. NOTE: The internship agreement form will need to be completed before you begin your internship.
Guidelines
- The Internship Agreement Form must be completed (and signed) before the internship begins.
- Three components of an internship:
1. At least 200 hours of "on-the-job" experience
2. A written report of the internship experience
3. An oral presentation detailing your activities during your internship experience (15 minute presentation; 15 minutes of discussion) - A faculty advisor will assist you in planning your internship, completing the agreement form, and will be a liaison during your experience if issues or questions arise.
- A final grade (Pass/No-pass) is assigned after the completion of your oral presentation.
For a complete explanation of the guidelines, please read the Internship Policies and Guidelines document.
Before meeting with your Faculty Advisor, please fill out the Internship Agreement Form.
