Dr. Jaeger's research includes issues related to water and land use, energy, taxation, the relationship between economic growth and natural resource allocation (the environmental Kuznets curve), and sustainable development.
Dr. Jaeger is professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, and extension agricultural and resource policy specialist. Prior to coming to Oregon State University, Dr. Jaeger was associate professor of economics at Williams College, MA. In the late 1980s, Dr. Jaeger spent five years doing research at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. Dr. Jaeger earned his Ph.D. and M.A. at Stanford University in 1985, and his BA in economics at Washington State University.
