Research Interest Statement

My current research interests include analysis of seafood demand, relationship between fishery management and international seafood markets, the economics of alternative pricing strategies.

Biographical Sketch

Richard S. Johnston is professor emeritus of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Adjunct Professor, University of Tromso, Norway. He is a past editor of Western Journal of Agricultural Economics, past chair, Executive Committee, International Institute of Fisheries Economics and Trade (IIFET), past chair of the University Graduate Faculty of Economics at OSU, and a Member of the Advisory Board, Marine Resource Economics. He currently holds a half-time appointment in the Department.
