Ph.D., University of California, Davis, 1976
Buccola joined the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics in 1981 and became a professor in 1988. He has served on the Board of the American Agricultural Economics Association, as editor of the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, and on the editorial boards of four other professional journals. Dr. Buccola was on sabbatical leave at Harvard University and Hebrew University of Jerusalem from September 1, 1999 to May 1, 2000. He currently is past-president of the American Agricultural Economics Association.
